Who Do We Say We Are?

“Story is…The secret opening through which the inexhaustible energies of the cosmos pour into human manifestation.”  –Joseph Campbell

YOU are the One!

~You are the one Consciousness has been waiting for in order to create a new energetic story of how you experience yourself, as group, on a moment to moment level.

~You are the one with the power to inform change & create awareness for Higher GOOD for Unity of Fort Collins.

Through the power of Story, our HOPCOF (Honoring our Past, Creating our Future) experience on March 2nd will invite Unity of Fort Collins to review:

~Who are we?
~Where have we come from?
~What have we created/achieved/ overcome/ learned/left unresolved
~What is ours to do, now/our next action?

“So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation, behold the new has come.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17

Standing at the Threshold.

Standing at the Threshold

Affirmation: I am not only living in an unfolding, infinite field of possibility, I Am the unfolding, infinite field of possibility.

Join us this Sunday to hear our Transitional Consultant, Steve Colladay, talk about mindfully and wholeheartedly embracing change and the unknown, radical acceptance of what is, and the willingness to answer the call.

Law of Attraction:  “The law that all conditions and circumstances in (our) affairs and body are attracted to us in accord with the thoughts we hold steadily in consciousness.” —Charles Fillmore, Co-founder of Unity

“Don’t be satisfied with the stories of how things have gone … unfold your own…”
–Rumi

All the Things You Are .

This Sunday we will be blessed with special Valentine’s music by Amy Augenstein and her dad, Tom Williams. Their songs, “My Funny Valentine” and “All the Things You Are” inspired my talk topic this week. I will be speaking about celebrating the wonderful unique and special qualities that each and every one of us has!

I love the line in “My Funny Valentine” that says, “you make me smile with my heart.” And I love the way I can feel that – about you as well as myself! – when I am centered in my true nature.

Another line in the song is, “you’re my favorite work of art.” I invite you to reflect on the idea of being a work of art. Go further and imagine the Creator singing to you, “You are my beloved, a masterpiece.” Look at yourself through the eyes of divine Love and start smiling at all the things you are!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Love,
Peggy

Life is a Mobius Strip.

Every Sunday we affirm our Unity core values with the words that we say together and the songs that we sing. One of the affirmations I have come to love the most is our opening:

OUR UNITY CENTERS US IN LIGHT AND PEACE,

ALLOWING US TO RECOGNIZE OUR GOD WITHIN

AND TO RADIATE THAT LOVE TO THE WORLD.

These words have meant more and more to me in my time with you, until today I feel that they are settled in my very bones. My cells vibrate to these words and do a little happy dance every time we say them!

I have often felt like this life journey is a never-ending pilgrimage that directs us inward and leads us outward. Now a haunting solo, now a harmonic symphony. In and out, down and up, an endless Mobius strip. Like breathing, we cannot only go inward. Nor can we focus only outward. We must do both. Our lives depend on it.

This Sunday we will join together in ONE service at 10, and will reflect upon our Unity journey of last year and on our intentions for this new year. One of my observations is how we have continued to grow in that process of going both inward and outward, in the ways we “recognize our God within and radiate that Love to the world.” I will share some of the ways I have seen that manifest. I invite you to join me.

In Love and Gratitude,

Peggy
