This Sunday brings a special treat to our morning celebrations. Lynn Kendall, our former long-time Spiritual Leader, will be joining us to do the talk! Lynn fell recently and broke her hand and nose. So she plans to share spiritual lessons she is learning during her recovery process, particularly about listening to inner guidance – and patience!
Come get a good dose of humor and wisdom from a wonderful and one-of-a-kind Unity guru (or in the spirit of last week’s talk, saint!).
In addition to the gift of Lynn’s talk, we will have special music by the very talented Cary Morin!
It’s going to be a great Sunday!
PS – Listening to our inner guidance and practicing patience are always relevant in this life. It seems to me to be especially appropriate as we all take a breath after the elections. I have been thinking a lot about how “we are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
I’m struck by the idea that we are all in costume. But when I look at others through my spirit eyes, I can see behind the costume and have an experience of recognition and kinship. That vision frees me to rise above the walls and to want only the best for whoever I am looking at.
Whatever you feel about the election is valid, because it’s a feeling. Others feel differently about the election. Their feelings are valid as well. Our opinions about things may be widely different. But Truth is bigger than opinions or feelings!
So let’s not wallow in feelings of winning or losing. Let’s not stoke the fires of “victory” and “defeat.” Let’s hone our vision so that we can grow the spark of Love that lives behind the costume of every being. Let’s continue to seek Truth and to work for the good of all!
