Listen for guides, but use their wisdom as you would a lamp to read your own heart. If someone dissuades you from your heart, they are not a guide. ~Nepo

Love, the Source; Love the Source.

December 14, 2017

Sometimes we don’t recognize the power of light until we are faced with darkness.

This is the season, when days are short and nights are long, in which we especially celebrate Light. Every tradition has its rituals for honoring the ways that light appears in the midst of darkness.

A recent reading from Unity’s Daily Word says, “If I need more divine guidance, I must step up my vibrational energy and increase the light of my soul…  as I shine the light of my inner being, a divine radiance begins to fill even the darkest corners of my mind and opens up my heart to greater understanding.”

What beautiful, profound imagery!

How do I increase the light of my inner being?

By focusing on Love. Connecting with Love. Growing Love. Holding Love. Receiving Love. Being Love.

Abbe Henri de Tourville said,  “Accustom yourself to the wonderful thought that God loves you with a tenderness, a generosity, and an intimacy which surpasses all your dreams.”

Live in the idea that you are loved beyond all comprehension, and the Light will dawn.
