Bridging Big Divides

Elizabeth Sink will share the substantial impact that bridging across differences inspired her to create CSU’s Multifaith & Belief Initiatives and to use those same skills to navigate a deep divide in her personal life.

She is a Master Teaching Instructor with a passion for facilitating healthy engagement across different identities. She has taught at Colorado State University since 2004 in Communication Studies, the KEY Communities and the University Honors Program.

Elizabeth’s teaching practice strives to promote investigation of a student’s own complex identity and develop communication competencies to advance motivation for constructive engagement across difference. Much of her curriculum advances pluralistic engagement between people who orient around religious and non-religious belief differently.
