About the event
The goal of this community event is to raise $700 to provide a fresh, local CSA vegetable share for a family in need.
The Vegetable Connection helps low-income families receive a vegetable share purchased from a choice of local CSAs (Plenty Heirloom Farms, Gordon Creek, Native Hill, Folks Farm & Seed, On the Vine, Colorado Fresh, Eden Valley, Well Fed Farmstead and The Growing Project). Each family picks up their share of freshly harvested vegetables once a week for 20 to 22 weeks. The families contribute to the costs of the vegetables on a sliding scale with the opportunity to include volunteering as part of their contribution.
Unity has been sponsoring the Vegetable Connection for 10 years, knowing the money goes directly to a family in the area. We appreciate any donation you are able to make. Checks should be made out to The Vegetable Connection. If you are unable…
