Prayer, Education, and Unity School of Christianity

I made my call to Silent Unity today. On the call a recording directed me to go where I needed to go based on my selection. The recording was clear and concise. It offered options of whether I wanted to wait for a live prayer chaplain to pray with me or I could have selected a recorded prayer.

The woman on the other line was warm, caring and I felt an energy of a loving presence. I did identify myself as a student in the class we are taking, I let her know it was a requirement for our class. She could not have been more loving or kind.

I told her I am having involved dental work; I would like to have a positive outcome and heal free of infection. Her prayer was well organized, thorough, and there once again a feeling or loving presence saying those words.

She let me know that they would pray on my requested outcome for 30 days. She then offered me an affirmation that I wrote down. The prayer chaplain gave me a choice if I would like something to send to me through email. I told her I would, and she had my email address she found online connected to my cell phone and could easily identify me.

I do respond to most of the literature I get in the mail for different Unity themes, or information at various times a year. I always donate to keep the movement alive, and I save the information in a notebook to assist me with my prayers for people on my prayer list.

But what was present throughout it all was the presence of love. The call felt genuinely real, and it couldn't be faked. rehearsed or scripted. I believe you can recommend to a prayer chaplain to be authentic on their calls but the ability to do it and be successful I think is a calling. I was fortunate to have the prayer chaplain on the phone provide compassionate support.
